Car Control - OBD2 is an Android app provided as-is — free to use, with an optional Pro version. Use it responsibly: never look at the live cluster while driving — only check sensors while parked.
1. Use of the app
The app is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may use it on as many devices as you own. You may not redistribute the APK, decompile it for the purpose of building a competing product, or use it to defeat vehicle safety / emissions systems.
2. No warranty
The app is provided "as is". We make no warranty that diagnostic readings reflect the true state of your vehicle, that fuel prices are exact, or that the app will be free from bugs. OBD-II readings come from your car's ECU and depend on the adapter quality.
3. Safety
Do not interact with the phone screen while driving — only check the live cluster and other screens while parked. Do not clear DTCs (error codes) without understanding the consequences — emissions readiness will reset.
4. Account & Pro version
A Google account and the cloud features (sign-in, encrypted backup) are optional — the app works fully without them. Some features require the optional Pro version, available through Google Play; you can manage or cancel it anytime in Google Play. The free tier stays usable without Pro.

We may update these terms; the updated version will be published on this page.
